A Little About the Blogger…

As I pursue my college degree in business, I really want to narrow my vision based on becoming a nail technician in the future through this blog.

My Grandma, Linda, and I (2004)

From a young age, I have always been very interested in the beauty and broad spectrum of art that can be placed in such a small space. I saw nail art most often from my grandma, who always made effort to keep up with her nails and I remember being so interested in nails from then on. Because of that introduction to art as an expressive form, there has always been a constant effort to add art to everyday life in any way possible. She has been my inspiration for a lot of factors in my life, so I chose to pursue this occupation not only for myself but for my grandma as well.

I don’t know much about being a nail technician despite going to get my nails done every two weeks. So, as I continue to use this blog as a form of research I plan to learn more about the nail business (tools, types of paint, beauty school, price ranges, etc) and hopefully teach y’all a little something as well. Also, I want to find healthier substitutions for acrylics because I have a hard time getting the length I want while making sure my natural nails will still be healthy.

As you navigate this blog, please be on the lookout for my weekly inspirations, various articles, videos, and other things I find interesting based on my interests. Thank you for taking the time out to get to know me and interacting with my blog. Being that I am not an expert, please feel free to leave comments.
